So yesterday I was in line for the salad bar at 1400 when this admin-type lady comes in, all agitated, and asks to pick up a pre-ordered salad. They workers give her a blank stare and she hisses "it's for Bruce N*** and he is in a hurry, if you know what's good for you, you will hand it over right now!". They looked at each other, shrugged, and made the salad. The rest of us just stood there wondering what on earth was going on.

Executives these days won’t be caught dead in the cafeteria. It is sort of an unwritten rule.
DJO used to eat in the SR cafeteria on the odd slow Friday and surprise employees by plopping down at a random table with his tuna on rye. A man of the people and a great leader.

I imagine if you reported it to the correct channels like HR it would be dealt with. I am not sure what we can do about it here
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and call BS on this one. Never happened. If it did, it certainly wasn't at his request. More likely someone tossing an exec's name around to skip the lines for her own lunch... and she needs to be called out on it.

I would email the incident to Bruce and let him know it bothered you. That is not the Chevron way. This wouldn’t fly in the SJV.
