Heard there was a layoff in the Whole sale at VP level.
Apparently someone didn't take the ethics training, and was receiving kickbacks.

Pay to play has always existed in some form on the sales teams. Golf, lunch, steak dinner, vacation for the family to Orlando or Vegas. It might not be cash but it close.
if they were receiving kickbacks, that's a firing offense and NOT a layoff. Sounds like fake news to me
Carrier/ wholesale is a tough business. If we aren't producing from the top down it's time for a change.
