Nova system

Anyone able to use the new Nova system? We’ve been trying to but doesn’t make it easy to check for incoming po’s. Seems like it’s more pain in the a-s than the old smart system. Maybe some training might have helped?? Maybe it’s just us??

Not even sure why the prices still need to be “checked” at club level. You’d think now in 2022 that all of this would be able to be already taken care of on the corporate level for each individual club’s alcohol orders.

Can use it to check prices but if have to change the price won’t let us edit it…..maybe should have all kinks out before starting a new way but that wouldn’t be the Sams way!!

I tried using it and it’s a joke! So complicated and makes no sense. In our state we can not refuse li---r delivered by the state but we have to check the prices. On the prin screen it gave a description, line #, cost this new way, sucks. On the hand held there’s no description, no line # so it’s a pain. Also can’t go back to the “incoming PO” on hand held.

I have tried activating a po on it. It is way more difficult then the old way. A few have worked on it and a few I'm just frustrated with it.

I tried to figure it out.
I printed out the instructions, but it is ridiculously complicated.

I understand wanting to retire the 1980s SMART system, but their idea of improvements always seem to be more complicated than what is being replaced.

I tried using it to check alcohol pricing and it showed nothing. Contacted someone and was told it should be there and to open a fixit ticket. Still waiting.
