They actually weren’t horrible and seemed down to earth, I would even go as far as to say they were helpful! but what does it say about xom that even HR is unhappy and leaving?

Former XOM HR here. We left in droves.
If an HR rep receives positive feedback from clients its a death knell. A happy customer is an overpaid overcoddled customer...

Other than the executive levels, everyone in HR that remains is reading a script.
A script prepared by external consultants and external lawyers.
The same way the rest of the company is run.

I don’t even know what an HR rep is. Something we don’t have in controllers.
We had one pipped in 2020 and one quit late last year. They are dealing with the same stuff everyone else is.
