Thread regarding DeVry Inc. layoffs

There is little left of the former DeVry

It seems to me that very little is left of the former DeVry. Reputation has been largely ruined. As far as I’m concerned, this is an unrecognizable place to what it was just a few years ago. I'm afraid there is no going back now and that those of us who have stayed here will only continue to witness the decline?

I very much doubt LW gave a hoot about Cogswells rep or practices when she was trying to offload Devry and Keller. Anyone keep up with Adtalem to see how that shitshow is going? Guess they had another round of layoffs at the goldenchild Chamberlain. So it doesn't sound like it's all rainbows and butterflies over there either.

Cogswell or the PAlm Ventures group bought DeVry and they have the same damn practices.

@2jzi+1fslXC5g dont keep your head in the sand. I worked at Devry and Keller for several years and I saw the gradual decline even when I was there. There had been so many layoffs across the board, a company who is doing well isn't going to layoff roughly half their staff. Stop listening to the bs management tells you and actually look around at what is going on. At least then if you are in the next round of layoffs you won't be blind-sided like so many former employees were in the past. I am so glad I am not there anymore, getting laid off was actually the best thing that could have happened to me. Found myself a better paying job that actually makes a difference in people's lives.

Nice try Draino! Posting fake opinions and then later looking them up for your “research” is fraudulent.

Look if you actually had any intelligence you’d go after the accreditors and not the employees. But you’re not in it fit the ethics, are you? You are here to insult and belittle employees and ex-employees because you think that you are producing “research” about employee reactions—some of which is comically incompetent. In your last “article” you tried to use stock price as an enrollment indicator. JFC go take a business class, you might learn something.
