Seriously doesn't it make better since if we stay remote, its worked just fine for over two years. Major metro areas would likely be high on the list of targets to hit. I think they should really reconsider RTO.

I'm not RTOing either, but you give fuel to the "you're just lazy" people when you imply that fear of a nuclear attack is a legitimate concern. The US is not going to be attacked with nuclear weapons and we both know it.
If that were to come to pass, I doubt it would matter where in the world you are.
If there is nuclear war, RTO might be the least of our problems. Being spreadout across the USA will be a resillency advantage for sure.
