how did this place become so bad seemingly so fast? when did it start?

Wish I saw this post before I joined this suckhole. It’s horrible. The culture is absolutely the worst in any company, not just tech, I’ve ever seen. The fakest people and my Lord….the level of incompetence. You legit don’t need to know a thing about security platforms or tech to be hired. And my god…some of the sales and success people. I don’t even think they interview people here. Hahahahaha. These people for the most part, couldn’t work at Walmart. Terrible.
It was always a harassing culture company wide. Lots of incompetence at all levels too.
Teresa Carson President of cloud is leaving after 6 months she was from AWS she knew it was all coming found.
As far as bad goes it was always bad for many years and the bill had been overdue.
It started to get bad 5 years ago, maybe before.
There is a new CEO from Proofpoint but he sold it to Thoma Brava a private equity firm last year. Move on with your lives.
