Chase branches are popping up because they didn't even have a presence in most cities until the past couple of years. My city got its first BoA branch and its first Chase branch stores in 2020.

Seeing all 3 banks close branches in a large metro area. Some were closed 'temporarily' in 20 and 21, and just never reopened. Wells closed many redundant locations and some smaller ones in grocery stores. Strangely, some of those were robbed semi frequently. It would be interesting to see a comparison of robberies versus closures in 2015-2019.

Gotta love the comparison between Chase openings and WF branch closure... Too good to not be true..all things considered 😀

Ever notice how Chase branches have been popping up left and right, but Wells Fargo's are only closing down. That should give you your answer.
