The Burlington assets were written down in 2009 as part of a whopping $34 billion write down. We lost $32 billion in Q4 2008.

Why is Eagleford being written down by $28 billion? Where the previous forecasts optimistic, future locations lower quality than expected, or less drilling locations.

Evidently….Anadarko Basin assets. And just like that, we are no longer operating in Oklahoma. Does that mean we can stop recruiting there? And Colorado? And Kansas? Such a fertile ground for diversity. Oh the hypocrisy. Waiting on pins and needles.

As long as the creepy foul mouthed Ops Manager goes with the Bakker sale then sell.

Probably either Canada or Alaska. Both are risky and could be sold now with high prices.

Time to cash out on Eagle Ford with these prices. May be able to recoup some of the $28 Billion write down. Her Highness and the notorious RB no G are no longer around to protect it.

Agree on Bakken and also perhaps Norway in the future, however sky high European gas prices are currently printing kroner.
