I've even stopped worrying about my job (which should be good I guess?) because I stress so much about everything else that's been going on in the world. I never thought I'd be missing and praying for the days when all I worried about were layoffs, but that's where I am right now.

Call the stable genius and ask him if he can call his favorite genius in Russis and they can work this all out.
The only solace I have is faith in Putin pressing the red button. If I gotta be miserable getting vaccinated 3x, living in a clown country with a shiitty, thankless job, then eff it.

I stopped getting riled up and now hope to be layed off. In fact, when those winds start to blow again, I’ll let my manager know it won’t hurt my feelings if I’m on the top of the list. He’d be doing me a great favor.
Why work for a company that propels layoff fears throughout the organization year after year? The annual am I next on the chopping block is a gross way to keep employees on the edge of their seats at all times. IMO it’s abusive slave labor.
Crude just hit 117, Inflation is likely 15%, 7.5% is some fictional subset they dreamed up. We have a stock market filled will unprofitable startups and pipe dreams that have never broke even that have been floated for the last decade with near 0% interest rates. Our media sounds like a 3rd world propaganda machine. Then we have been in lock down for over two years when it was supposed to be a couple weeks to slow the wave. And now we have Russia and nuclear war on our doorsteps and we're told don't worry Kamala is on it. I am very scared, this has all the workings for a WW2 type deal to trigger.
The bank sucks, but don’t worry too much about the bs fear the news throws at you. There’s always been crazy stuff going on in the world. Just live life and enjoy and don’t take anything too seriously.
