Thread regarding GE Healthcare layoffs

People still working hard

The same ones who constantly complain (for a reason) are the ones who continue to put in the most effort. Why do people here still work so hard, when they know how little this company values all that effort. Despite all the hard work you can be first on the list for layoff? So why all the effort?

Haha, can’t wait to see these hard working sipshits get shredded when it’s time to go public. They need a PE firm to come in and completely clean house. Especially those re--rds in commercial service sales leadership. Pathetic

It does not matter if GEHC employees are working hard or like most of them, they are st-----g it and doing very very little.

GEHC IS STILL, GarbaGE, Corrupt AND an Unethical Company!

Maybe they have hope the spun-off company can really be what the GEHC of today can't ever be...actually good at what it does and a good place to work.

The days of Powerpoint-flipping, talking-head, fancy-suit, shell-game BS artists of the Welch & Immelt eras are over. Either actually be good at what you do or go out of business.

Or maybe they have just drunk the Kool aid.

Speak for yourself. I'm putting in bare minimum effort and looking for my side hustle. Because your exactly right - my effort and input does not matter. Already got screwed this year with unattainable goals and a terrible comp plan, so I'm going to pack it in early and do nothing. Tomorrow never changes for the better at GE Healthcare, in fact tomorrow never really changes- same dated technology, same good old boy network, same lip service to employees being valued and D&I importance, same quality issues . . . same old same old.

Maybe they believe that tomorrow something will change for the better.
