Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

How many people got fired from your call center today?

Just curious, which call center are you in and how many people got fired from that call center over the vaccine?

I work in the Springfield call center... I was told today that our site let go 212 people over not being vaccinated. From my community alone we lost 2 coaches and 7 agents.

Don’t rewrite history — 90% of Sprint’s calls were handled overseas! They couldn’t afford to onshore Customer Care.

Marcelo Claure (former CEO of Sprint) realized the value of bringing the call centers back to the US. Customer Service from a North American call center is better in the US customer's eyes. When a US customer gets lousy service from a foreign call center, even if they complain, the lousy call center employee just gets moved to answering calls for another account at the same call center... they just read a different script, for hotel reservations or something. The Foreign call centers do not care ONE bit about giving good customer service. marcelo saw that he was getting better retention from customers who got to talk to North American people. I am thinking that Mike Sievert either doesn't know that, or doesn't care, so move the calls back over seas. Very shortsighted.
