I wasn’t at all surprised by the rumors of layoffs because leadership doesn't know what it's doing for some time now. I'll do my best to leave before the cuts start. This company is already missing a lot of people and it is very difficult to work in such conditions. But it will only get worse after the next round of layoffs.

You could say executives watch slide shows all day.

Outsider here. Our Organization separated from Providence health. Yes it’s terrible to watch an organization hide behind a non profit and catholic banner to pull out the Enron, Aurthur Anderson, Washington mutual playbook to run their “business”
Providence outsourced the majority of its payroll to India and continues to do more of the same with IT.

Remember when senior leader justified layoffs saying AT people only watched servers all day. They are all jerks . Local ministries are mostly good people but the upper management at ascension sucks, they should loose there not for profit status. They will get what they deserves outsourcing to a third world country and taking jobs from America workers. All in the name of money. I believe this company is ran by greedy jerks !! They lost the way, they call themself catholic I don't think so! JUST money hungry JERKS!!
HCL is already cutting subcontractors that were supplementing FS. And they're letting go of FS HCL contractors for being poor performers when really, they couldn't meet the high-ticket quotas that HCL put on FS to close per day. They keep saying departments are overstaffed when they're already running at the lowest staffing in years.
HCL is paying out the a-s to Ascension for breached SLAs. You'd think they keep any staff on they could that close tickets. But instead, they're firing people and more tickets now aren't getting close by their SLA. There is no method to their madness.
Premium service desk for doctors and "E" level leadership no doubt.
But wait, they created a “premium service desk.” Aka people you can actually understand. Such a joke. I’m actively looking for work before the next round of layoffs.
Hearing about HCL and TechM issues and many complaints about service.
