Not at all genuine praises and compliments. False expressions of gratitude. Being a "yes man". This is what most managers here value more than hard work.
It is disgusting how they think that all these false compliments are a greater expression of respect than someone's actual hard work. Have you noticed that the more they are able to sweet talk the management, the less they work, the less pressure they have, the less stress they have?
