Why stress unnecessarily? They want us to do more with less. If they think it's possible, then let them find someone to do it. In the meantime, I keep working less with less. Interestingly, ever since I started doing just the bare minimum, I feel more valued by my manager.

I think the company is about to shut down. That could be the only reason that they are self sabotaging by trying to do more with less. Less employees to the point that they have no business.

Obviously the term do more with less is an insane pipe dream. We have all tried to give that little extra only to no avail. At some point logic and math dictates that you cannot do more with (much)less. Less with less is the only way that the insanity will stop!
Like in Good will hunting "it's not your fault". Repeat that to yourselves everyday. Now your DM may scurry in like he's high on m-e-t-h and freak out on everyone but remember IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT. It's corporate's fault and now it's time for payback. Let the s-h-i-t-s-h-o-w burn down to ash. They created this and we suffer. No more. Less with less..that means less enthusiasm and energy. Take the money.
