Thread regarding Cenovus Energy layoffs

Has anyone successfully dealt with bullying by their mngr?

Since most managers here like to target employees with their manipulative bullying behavior, maybe someone has good advice on how to successfully deal with it.
I would most rather quit, but unfortunately, I have to put up with extremely arrogant behavior until I get another offer.

If you have submitted detailed reports to HR or your supervisor then perhaps Integrity Helpline is your best option. Funny how some people on here seem to have no problem making fun of a VP for their weight or hair, but can turn around and complain about being "bullied" and "belittled"... monkey see, monkey do?

What a joke to say report it to HR - they have done NOTHING and continue to do nothing. NR sends an email celebrating communism, still here. Backhanded jokes, belittling managers, all still here. HR has received reports and either someone in leadership is dismissing them or HR just is too busy chewing gum and living in their own delusional world of self fulfillment to do anything. All the expect respect and diversity talk, the problem is sitting with our leadership at the highest levels who just chortle along and the inaction of the CEO and COO and HR to clean up this mess. Sending emails about respect are useless when your own EVPs have none, adding more layers of fat and distance from the actual workers by the excess of VPs and SVPs isn't helping either. Moving your field superintendents to other sites after they've knocked up their subordinates isn't getting rid of the problem it's just shifting it. Would AP or JM send their daughters or wives to work at our sites if people didn't know they were related to them? I have to wonder.

The new IT managers are as incompetent as the old. Just more of the same old stuff. Let’s promote people to their highest level of ignorance and call it progress! Good grief what a disappointment.

"Talk to HR"

Hahahahaha.

NR once got in my elevator and the thing shook. I had to look at the weight limit of the unit.

Aggressive or intimidating behavior should be documented and reported to the integrity helpline, your supervisor or HR. Naming people on this forum will not have an impact.

MD in IT is the biggest bully around but he gets away with it. Everyone too scared to do anything about it. JH just useless. HR and IT are both a joke.

JH is not a bully. The director with the grade 12 diploma is the bully.
