Working here is stressful, Schwab is very demanding. I almost got used to all that stress after working here for many years. However, what is really fascinating is how Schwab makes stressful even those things that don't have to be that way, and that’s why people leave this place. As soon as you start thinking it can't get any more nerve racking, something happens that proves you wrong. I’ve never noticed that leadership wants to make this place more desirable to work in the sense that it’s less stressful?

The only thing stressful is that no one seems to be empowered or accountable, and the org is constantly changing.
Are you referring to the sudden SCS Change Freeze?
I’m not sure I know what you mean. I’m in STS, and there are crunch times when we have to deliver. But I wouldn’t say it’s constant stress.
Personally I think folks on SaVE teams are always stressed out. Ever been paged to join a tech line during some production issue. I don’t know is never an acceptable answer. LOL.
