Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Ford market capitalization DECLINES to less than General Motors

Ford closed at $57.157 Billion
GM closed at $57.746 Billion
The big question: will Phoebe at the Detroit Free Ford Press make this the front page headline in the Sunday edition?
The answer is no, because Farley won’t send her a press release telling her what to write, and Mary Barra at GM would never send out a press release on this.
Tesla is still valued higher than Ford, GM, Stellantis, VW and Toyota combined.
Go Elon! Go Blue!

Elon is the Andrew Carnegie of our times.
Jimbo is a legend in his own mind.

@1sod+1gBeEwtO Elon is self-made man compared to Billy or Jim. Look at Space X. They can land a rocket booster on a barge at sea. Bill nor Jim can clean up that Crack house of a train station. What a joke that was.
Elon is a visionary. not a clueless dreamer like BF & JF.
He is an engineer. Can anyone tell us what has Billy or Jim done?

Talking to Tesla Recruiters & hiring managers in Product Development, they are surprised how things are ran here at Ford. They couldn't believe how disconnected PD is from the plants & issues, not could they wrap their heads around UAW control at the plants.

This is an insignificant difference between Ford and GM considering the swings of the market.
Time will tell is Tesla will be around in 10, 20, 100 years.
As for Elon, his businesses are nothing more than toys he plays with.
