Does Technology not thoroughly test things before they release them? SAS is not an uncommon tool. Rollouts that break things have a very negative impact to productivity and poses risk to the business when ill-timed.

I use SAS EG and it’s mostly been fine since they migrated me to HCP anywhere. The thing about it that has p*ssed me off though, is that if I leave my laptop on at home, once the Pulse connection times out and HCP anywhere can’t connect, my computer will randomly shout at me “HEY YOU! YOU’RE COMPUTER NEEDS TO RESTART! DO IT NOW!”… it’s legit woken me up at 3 am before, so obnoxious.
A graphics update blue-screened my computer last year, and my local tech guy had to spend hours on it to make it work again……so no technology is not being properly tested before roll-out. And for those of you with the negative comments to op about still using SAS, we’re forced to use A LOT of old tech in different groups. Not our choice, but unfortunately it is necessary for our jobs because nothing else has been implemented.
The problem is that they 1.) don’t document issues along with 2.) documenting the known fix. This was solved maybe six months ago for many my group. It’s an easy fix.
How is WF still using SAS?! What about GCP, AWS, or Azure?
