Anyone else’s hour cut? They up to their old tricks cutting hours and blaming it on corporate. The older employees tell me it’s done when the store manager wants to get a good bonus.

Corporate goons deleting posts again. Can’t handle truth!
If you think they give us hours based on projection you are delusional. Take a look at the force projection and then compare to your budgeted hours. The force is what you should run based on sales and optimized scheduling for the business. Those numbers have been way off for some time now. At this point they are expecting the impossible..
Smh. It's quite ridiculous and seems to be just the way things are from here on out. In my heart I truly believe that things will NOT take a turn for the better. So last night I spent the evening applying to jobs on Indeed. As much as I enjoy my coworkers, it's not enough to continue to be employed by this dying company. It's a shame because as far as retail goes, it's really not a bad gig. But to go from 37-39 hours a week consistently to 13-20 a week... it just isn't viable nor worth it to me. So wish me luck all! And I'll wish the same for you.
Bonus is NOT based on hours. Corporate gives budget according to projected sales. Sales and conversion down means hours down.
Bonus program has nothing to do with payroll hours…..it’s a corporate cut to save money
This is very common in retail. I've worked for a number of retailers. BB&B is the rule not the exception. Managers will cut anywhere they can just so they can get their bonus. The first area they always cut is hours and payroll because that's the biggest expense.
If you want more hours offer to work for one of the disgruntled mothers that got scheduled on Mother’s Day.
Anyone working pt at my bbb have had hour cuts since.. I want to say the beginning of April. My store is usually busy too but the last week or two it's been dead.
i dont think the bonus program (as confusing as it is) has anything to do with payroll spend.
