Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

Everybody is doing better

I know three people who were laid off in December. All of them have new jobs with better pay and better company culture (at least that's what they've been telling me, and they have no reason to lie). They said the job market is good enough right now that it's not that hard to land something new that's an upgrade. Change Healthcare inadvertently did them a favor when it laid them off.

A lady I worked with she left in February and tried offshore but she was with them for 12 weeks and they had not set her up to work. She left and the place she is at now she feels like she has already learned more in the 3 weeks she been there then the 13 years shes worked for CHC. She feels like she can move up unlike CHC because everyone knows you only move up if you are a favorite of management.

I have been gone from CHC for a year now. It is definitely possible to find higher pay. My salary went up by 40k, however I do miss the work life balance I had at CHC.

Instead of leaving, let's unionize.
Tired of working at the whim of incompetent management? This company's leadership is more concerned with quoting the latest self-help psychobabble than organizing individual contributors in a productive manner. Corporate cronyism has led this company down the toilet. Brown nosers and yes men huddle around holding the "slow signs" while the supervisor toads stand around watching people work. Our management is nothing more than a social club where key decisions are made in back alleys in order to benefit their buddies.

I'm glad there is hope. Our entire department is looking for a new position. The company culture has really spiraled downhill. We are just a number anyways, nothing more.
