Not many ex-Cenovus leaders left in IT after JH's sl------r. Replaced them with a group of yes-people and vendors and the same incompetence that drove Husky IT into the ground. Obvious personal agenda for JH, yet under the watchful guidance of HR who sat back and aided and abetted. JH and his bully-band of Husky tyrants. 'Do it Together' - yeah, ok, time to start looking for a new job.

It is not going to get any better. Have you seen their credentials or lack of? The best educated (Biology) does not know what a company code is.
Yes, CVE leadership should have never allowed this to happen!!! We lost exceptional IT knowledge and expertise when JH decided to purge IT and rebuild it with cronies. There is a reason why the HSE IT migration has been an 18 month train-wreck and it’s NOT because of the folks that were at CVE before the takeover!!!!!!
Those two guys know nothing so they bring ppl who know less so they can continue pretending, what a 12 grade diploma guy can know?
What the two IT fools in charge don’t realize is this isn’t Husky. They just destroyed their own careers as well. It is only a matter of time.
Frankly, if I was to lead, and let's say I had 5 years before I leave or retire, I'd surround myself with nice people who like me and say 'yes' everytime I ask them to do something.
It's simple stuff, we are not building rocketships so 10 different opinions are needed. Here it is: make a decision, everyone falls in line, we execute. If there are mistakes we fix it. Rinse, repeat.
Feel free to hate, but it's as simple as this.

Good news is that it is a strong market for job seekers. Decent IT jobs out there.
Ask them to publish resumes, education and credentials. You will be surprised to see what they have or not
these employees could make a claim of wrongful dismal (and get a bigger package) as the they were likely not terminated for performance and these were not 'structured' layoffs
What a disappointment from JH. Many highly experienced and capable IT staff were terminated to satisfy his personal agenda. There was a reason Cenovus bought husky so cheaply.. because they were a terribly run company... and now... CVE IT is going to be run in the same way.
