Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Creating the unmotivated employees.

I hear multiple managers blabbering about how we have become unmotivated and that we need to find motivation for doing the work in a responsible and proactive manner. I would like to counter that claim with a question. If multiple employees that are generally good working and responsible people lost their motivation why did they lose it? How come the company leadership can’t be honest, at least to themselves and admit that they have created a hostile atmosphere and degraded the culture to a degree where people no longer feel as they can make a difference.

The company over the years has asked the employees to always accept change. Yet change is the one thing the company refuses to do. RTO will not favor the company.
