I realize there are a LOT of miserable people at Wells Fargo and empathize with many about the culture, the lack of respect towards employees, the lack of commitment to employees, the threat of constant layoffs, the hypocrisy, the lack of consistency with remote work, etc. etc. I could go on and on.
I lived it for a long time, and then I left. Like an abusive relationship, it's sometimes hard to get out of, you think you're stuck in it, but you're not and you want out so bad even waiting a few months for a new job can seem like an eternity! My advice is get out as soon as you can! Quit being committed to it. Devote an hour a day to applying for new jobs, even it it's in between meetings. You can't run a successful bank or business with constantly laying off talent and expect to have an engaged, committed team all rowing in the same direction to move the company forward. The regulators should of busted up the bank long ago, but the government is incompetent.
You're in control of your life, your future, and your career. There are many other places to work, get after it.
