I've been here long enough to know that nothing will change for the better. Every day is terribly stressful.
Not only that, but Verizon is constantly finding new ways to create an even more stressful environment for their employees.
This is something I will never be able to understand, why would a company want to make the environment even more stressful than it already is?

The stressful environment issue started around the year 2008, I would say, then multiplied in 2012 when Lowell McAdam arrived. It's only going to get worse. I literally have anxiety attacks every Sunday just thinking about logging in on Monday's. It use to be a great company to work for but now it's horrible. The only thing holding most of us to this toxic company is the weekly paycheck which is THE ONE AND ONLY good thing about it. Even with the great pay I'm still always looking for an escape route to maintain my sanity.
The culture is deal with the stress because you're lucky you have a job that pays OK.
