No, share awards are something else that now almost only management gets a ton of, no one else.

1rtf+1gPIylqL Stop asking this everywhere and do some research. Their site is for people who have reason to talk about companies. Not get badgered by your job search. Don’t Apply only for selfish reasons. The phone is a life suck. Spend some time looking up what call centers do to a person. If you honestly asked around, everyone would tell you to avoid that job. They literally couldn’t pay people referral bonuses to hire their friends in the past there because no one would do that to their friends.

hello @4hor+1gPIylqL who said ......

"tells me your nest egg wasn't that big if you're still working after taking a VBO. Sounds like you need to work. "

Yeah sorry I do feel the "need" to work after a VBO because I am only 55 and I wish to leave my kids with total and complete financial security thanks mostly in part to my 24 years at FIDO and being patient with the stock market.

Unlike many younger peeps posting here IT IS NOT ABOUT ME..... its about legacy listen to Dave Ramsey for more on that.

P.S. I have never yelled for meatloaf from a basement.

"VBO'ers are sorry now as they're nest egg is shrinking badly."

Yes poor me, 12 months of severance while working full time.

Yes poor me, my nest egg went from 3 mill to 2.7. How will I ever survive?

Michael, you need to stop complaining about VBO’ers and start putting your nose to the grind stone minding your own business not looking at what other people have that you don’t have. Before you know it you will have 25 years into the company and will be old enough to enjoy the fruits of your labor. BTY, stop yelling for the meatloaf from your mothers basement and get a full time job.

VBO HAVING to go back to work...Nope not me. It will be about 6 years before I even start thinking about touching my 401k money.

Not at all true as nest egg today (thanks to 7% match and 10% profit) for 24 years made it such that amazingly I do not HAVE to work at all post FIDO at age 55. I am working again now and will just stop working when I am ready to!!!

Pull up a 25 year DJIA graph to see why there is no real "shrinkage" if one is just patient.

P.S. to Post ID: @3czs+1gPIylqL - Sorry, I have no insight into the phone teams.

Thank you for confirming this. Is it worth taking the job for it though? How’s it like on the phone teams?

7% 401K match and 10% profit sharing if markets are up all true which is why the VBO takers who $aved it all can comfortably retire at 55!!!!

I was told that Fidelity contributes 7% 401 k matches and usually an additional 10% a year in retirement bonuses. Is this true? I was wondering if I should work there or not.

What are the typical share awards? Is this the annual “10%” retirement contribution?

All the better to water down the already pathetic share awards.
