Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Negative

People never get ahead. Fiserv offers a great opportunity in the upcoming years. As I transition from Ohio to New Jersey, I am filled with anticipation for the opportunities ahead. Doesn’t hurt that we have a great leader in Frank B

I would love to hear what kind of relocation assistance Fiserv is providing for these moves? Did they pay the realty fee for selling your house? Did they pay for movers? How much of the cost is being put on you. Then again the Ohio people are probably fresh out of high school, orphans, with no kids that are fine moving.

I am glad I haven't eaten breakfast yet because your comments are sickening.

I have found NJ to be delightful and welcoming

Ohio is terrible. I hear the people can't get anything done at all. They have to wait until they move to a different state to start working.

I live in and love Jersey.

I resent the stereotyping of our state.

Every state has its unique challenges and its unique value proposition. It's OK that NJ is good for some people while Ohio is ideal for others.

Just because I love NJ doesn't mean I should besmirch Ohio!

It's possible to separate the ideas of hating Fiserv, loving where you life and not wanting to move, from the idea that New Jersey must be a horrible place.

Moving for Fiserv is an iffy proposition no matter where they ask you to go.

If you achieve synergies through contact collaboration shouldn’t you move into Franks basement?
Your progress can be watched constantly. And when you see NJ pricing that or a box under a bridge is where you’ll be.

@igx

How are you collaborating in person when another post said your team from Ohio doesn’t move until August.
And how are you collaborating in person with India, LatAm, and various cities in the US.
Seems the HR schill is over the top again.

We will be more effective in NJ because we will be in the office together collaborating. The synergy of being together is powerful. And it’s called the garden state for a reason. It’s a very tranquil state

If you think Frank is a good leader then you must have gone through alot of trauma as a child to think this. Poor guy. You need therapy.

You all forget that the OP will now have the privilege of paying NJ taxes, toll roads, a higher cost of living and lower quality of life (especially air quality). Who wouldn't want to move to the armpit of America?

You'll be doing the same sub par job you're doing in Ohio except now your leaders will be able to keep an eye on you directly. I agree with the other post. What exactly is the transition? New work location? That's it? Your job's not changing. Just your location and the number of eyes, cameras, badge readers and servers watching your every move. Enjoy.

Transition from OH? Didn’t that semi roll in yet? And isn’t your job the same as it was 5 days ago?
What transition?
We expect the stock price to soar like the hot air you contain.
Frank B as a great leader?
I knew a Wi---e B. Was a gorilla at the Atlanta zoo. Same difference I suppose.
