How do you like Fidelity?

I use a pay by the hour planner for fiduciary advice, not a "wealth management company". No hidden fees, no churn, no colored recommendations due to commission structures.

She's been great for many years, with plain English explanations, data driven decisions, and 100% transparency. I know exactly what I'm paying for advice, and Fidelity has offered everything we need for low costs and excellent returns with expected risk. We also have significant assets at Vanguard due to my SO's retirement plan not offering access to Fidelity.

One thing the company has done well is choosing Fidelity as a 401(k) administrator.

Use another wealth management company to have the 2 compete against each other. My brokerage link is outperforming fidelity year over year by 10 points. Take advantage of HSA, 529, extra life insurance. Also, some wealth management companies will open a credit line for cash.

Hard to tell at the moment using them but the stock market is in shambles for 3 months

Happy with Fidelity, especially the VISA Signature card that pays 2% on everything, no questions asked, no signups, just money appears in my IRA every month or two.

I also have Charles Schwab started 30+ years ago at another job now managing my rollover IRA, it's got similar but slightly different tools.

THere's now some upsell pressure to get you to use paid consulting resources, but you'll do as well just to follow the simple index strategy (see bogleheads.org for good explanation).
