Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Retail segment is suffering and is not well organized

It looks to me like the people that are running the company don’t know the first thing about the business that we’re in, but are rather running the retail segment as it was Walmart or something.
It seems that the tasks are just dropped on us from higher tiers of management, without any consideration that were heavily understaffed and that the ones that are here are heavily overworked.
I know that they don’t give two sh--s about the people in the stores, but with these practices it’s only a matter of time before people start leaving in droves. The leadership is not doing themselves any favors by overworking us. At some point there will be no one left to pick up the pieces.

C suite and even board of directors has been almost entirely wiped of anyone with legacy cvs retail experience and taken over by Aetna. Different priorities and understanding of realities these days.
