Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Someone must be very desperate to look for a job here now

Since I can't wait to get a new offer and forget about the last months I spent here, I can't imagine someone looking for a job here now. Either they are not familiar enough with the situation here or they are really desperate? Why would anyone with skills and talent want to work in a place like this?

I'm sure they will not have any trouble finding 3,000 gas station attendants to work out of the New Jersey office.

This company is far from what it once was, but it's still not a bad place to gain experience. The fact that we're having so much trouble attracting and keeping talent makes it a pretty easy place to land a position. That being said, while there are certainly worse companies out there, there are also much better, so I'd recommend gaining some industry experience here and then moving on to a better company that values its employees.
