Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

It is extremely demoralizing

I feel horrible when I do work for two people while others who have somehow managed to become favorites just stand there, talk and do almost nothing.
In addition I am terribly underpaid for the amount of work I do.
Sometimes I ignore it and continue to do my job, and sometimes it demoralizes me so much that I don't feel like doing anything.

I guarantee you that whatever raise you have coming on your next job dialogue will be lower than the current rate of inflation.

Don't ki-l yourself for this job. You'll not be rewarded for it.

rule number 1 : LEARN TO SPEAK THE CORPORATE SPEAK..then bu-----t from there while doing bare minimum...

rule number 2: as a new hire be a snitch for policy violations around you-no name tags, shoes for crews, etc

rule number 3 : brown nose as much as possible while working and in break room.

hard work doesnt pay off here. the sooner you realize that the better off you will be. if you work hard you sc--w yourself over because IT DOESNT MATTER. so just take advantage of the system and do bare minimum. ask yourself if you plan on being STL one day, if you answer 'no' then you are wasting your time expecting to make any progress at WF.
