Now that the center is open, how long do you think till they call the majority of center employees back into the office? I think those in the BG's will be called back by the end of September (once Cabin season is done) and those seen on the cost side (EOC) will be spared from having to come in. Just curious on your thoughts. I am also noticing that a majority of those in the office are managers. I think they will not allow that separation for much longer.

A degree is just one part of the equation. If your promotion won't increase D&I (diversity) metrics, it's not going to happen.
If you don’t have a degree, don’t waste your time. MMM severely discriminates against you if you don’t have a degree.

It is important to keep in mind much of 3M Center staff and nearly all of the factory staff have been 'in the office' for most of the pandemic. It is only the purely office people who are newly back.
From what I've seen, it is mostly the senior manager and higher ranks coming back first. Then again if I was in one of those sh---y open office areas, I wouldn't be in a hurry to come back either.
Most managers have private offices while the sheeple are slogging in cubicles or worse open offices, where chances of infection are so much higher.
Also most managers are insecure about their positions and capability and feel that unless they can monitor their subordinate's ar-e on a daily basis, they are not doing their managerial duties.
Come fall and winter when COVID cases will inevitably increase through the roof in a cold climate place like MN, WYW policy will become more liberal since lot of people will get infected in office.
