look at this disaster of a transformation. BCG led it, and even during execution, even now -- they are sticking around doing org reviews. How can they not know their own design? Hundreds of millions wasted then in 1-2 years
Funny how Chevron requires a look-back on even minor internal decisions, but has never publicly required a look-back on all the previous BCG charades. Obviously someone in high management is getting kickbacks from BCG.
BCG is there to take the blame...so that our management isn't accountable for tough decisions that the big boss makes. Isn't that priceless?
BCG tells you what you told them to tell you. No insight whatsoever.
The gold standard for management consulting is McKinsey. Bain is also highly regarded. BCG is quite average. Chevron likes them because they are cheap and malleable regarding their input. They will recommend want you want them to recommend.
