People don't seem to consider GE Healthcare as a long-term employment option from what I can see. Nearly everybody I know has plans to move on at some point in the future, usually within a year or two. This comes as a surprise to me since I enjoy my job and have no desire to leave it. I can't be the only one who feels this way, can I?

Big LOL's @ GEHC.. Thank you all for your hard work, keep it up. Looking forward to seeing you chumps go out of business. We appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Your competition
There was a time that GE Healthcare was a job for life. Great benefits, good healthcare, and a pension. Unfortunately this is not the case anymore and thus it takes away from a long term commitment. True working here can be rewarding , in being an active participant in a rewarding field. However in todays fast pace and over/under managed company better opportunities need to be answered.
Five years you ask? How about fives days!
Over the months, years and decades there have been so many good people, employees laid-off from GE Healthcare.
Every year that I have been here in the fall just before Thanksgiving and in the Spring / Summer months there have been job cuts.
Hang in there kid, work hard, brown nose the management and back stab your coworkers. Before too long you’ll be running t-cons and if you’re lucky someone might nominate you to be one of the best of the best.
Oh don’t worry there buckaroo. It is most definitely OUT OF YOUR control how long you will work at GE Healthcare.
Later or sooner you will be whacked!
It does not matter at all how busy you. It does not matter how much money you will save the Company etc. etc.
You are an expense charged to a Cost Center.
This Company needs to go to dust and go away!!!
