Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Plan unknown

It seems that the leadership has no plan for the future of this company.
They may have a plan for themselves, but they don’t seem to have a plan for this company - plan that would get Fisser back on the rails. Is there one? This company really needs radical changes.

Fiserv has fundamentally 3 businesses:

  • merchant is the largest - ki----g it with an 11% great rate and two great platforms for the future - Clover and Carat.
  • Banking - great businesses and just bought Finxact the best 3rd Gen Core in the market
  • Issuing - cash cow

That is a wonderful hand, $16B in Rev and $4B in profits

Dublin is already closed. There hasn't been anyone in that office for over a year. They had to be out by March. I imagine that's all done.

The plan is to close Dublin and slowly terminate all of the former employees from that location.

Except there are better and cheaper alternatives that are thriving. All Fiserv does is acquire companies and has out dated technology. Oh and FB feels good about the veteran stuff

Fiserv will be fine, they can continue to lumber along and live off recurring revenue. Just from that and managing costs, the numbers will be good. If they hit some singles and doubles they could pop. Large company big profits, no need to really stretch
