Are there any other clubs having issues getting the new membership cards? We have had only 2 shipments total, nothing since the super bowl. I heard we aren't getting them and going digital?

I wonder if the management not giving the cards is because their club isn’t doing good with SNG. My club is #1 in our market 30-33% average. No problem having membership cards.
We have the cards but mgmt won’t give them to us. So we have to lie to members saying we don’t have any, or, we don’t give cards anymore you must download the app. Serval member’s have asked for refunds because they “paid” for a card and expected to get one.
Sams/Walmart will do ANYTHING to get personal info and/or keep members cash back. SHAMEFUL!
Oh also another thing. The company isn’t going fully digital with the cards. The enhanced membership cards will be required in order for a member to get their Sam’s Cash cashed out. For now the old cards still will allow you but eventually they’re going to deactivate them being able to get the rewards with that card. At least that’s what they Sam’s Cash Toolkit indicated.
This may seem silly. But you need to order them from Online Ordering to actually get them after the initial shipment. I’ve ordered them within last few week and got them within a week. But they do go on an occasional back order.
We are going to lose members over this. You cannot force people to download the app on their phones. Some people do not have smart phones. Membership has been told not to give cards but to make the member download a digital card.
A lot of our members do no want to down load he app.
The company is going digital by the end of the year...the one sad thing is that older ppl can not or don't want put app on the phone or even don't have the phones...I had a member who got temporary paper membership and laminated it...lol...
We are having trouble getting them as well. The last shipment a week ago we got only two boxes of each one.
More than likely it is a passive campaign to get members to either download the app or get the credit card.
