Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Major layoff in May

Based on the reality of the Q1 earnings, there will be planned layoffs in May. Second week. No severance package. At least 1400 to be cut. Mostly STS.

What is bookmarking the LS site. How do you bookmark? Remember, I make tires, I don’t make money like Charles Schwab.

Wonder if the OP uncontrollably laughs everytime he writes his old and tiresome les schwab bit thinking how clever he is. Im guessing he reads the post back to himself while looking in the mirror wondering if his audience thinks he’s as funny and clever as himself.

Seems Les Schwab had had many layoffs over the last year plus. How many employees do you have to begin with. And how about bookmarking the LS site, so you don't repeat the mistake.

Sorry I was the original poster. There are major layoffs coming, but for Les Schwab, not Charles Schwab. I thought I was posting in Les Schwab. We make tires, we don’t make money.

Joining forces implies blue gives a rats a-s on what green thinks. Yes, blue bought green so we should get over it, but decisions are being made because of blue egos that aren't in the best interest of the firm. In the end this merger will be nothing more than blue paying 26B for a few trillion in assets while gutting TOS functionality because blue egos couldn’t let go of their underperforming pieces. On the bright side blue will be modernized and scalable in the cloud, something green could never dream of accomplishing.

I was thinking it’s the mass exodus of Green after March 4. Now T+ 60 days and the same fools are still here. Thats brutal. I’ll take 9% Green resignations or layoffs.

Maybe the person works for Robinhood and got the dates wrong. 9% of the staff? That’s brutal

Confirmed date of layoffs, May 14. Very reliable source. Yes, it's a Saturday, which is rather unorthodox, but that is the target date. HR is already preparing for this major event. Also, no severance package.

Right that’s why we’re planning on a hiring surge. Don’t feed the troll.

Obviously it's fake and a lazy attempt at trolling. A severance package is always included in Schwab layoffs. The poster is bored since this site has cooled off since bonus payout. Knowing this forum leans heavily STS, they make a point to call it out to try and get a reaction. Nothing to see here... this site used to be helpful.
