Well. Looks like we hit the limit between these last two weeks. We are starting to drop a little. Either they gave up or are filling seats. Not sure.

Why fill open positions when they can get other employees to add it to their workload? That’s how it looks to me
There is a hiring freeze in large parts of the product organization including for backfills of needed roles vacated by employees who take positions at other companies. Many teams are shortstaffed but indiscriminate cuts will continue until $2 million in expenses is reached regardless of impact on teams or products. In a tight labor market this will result in many more employees bailing.
