Frank has made hundreds of millions of dollars as CEO, he is 62 years old. He has survived cancer, he has children and a family. Why does he still work? Why not retire, travel the world, maybe launch into space with Bezos. Spend time with his family. Instead he probably works 60-80 hours a week, and hardly has a personal life.
Is he trying to prove something to someone? Is it about maintaining power and control? Is his life defined only by the job? I just don’t understand. Optional credit same questions but for Guy?
Personal rant here but as a younger employee I can’t wait until we get these 60+ year olds in the most senior roles out. We need some younger leadership not stuck in the ways of the past. This isn’t limited to Fiserv, a lot of Fortune 500 Executive teams are 60+. The next 10-20 years will be interesting.
