The question is were they fired or voluntarily left maybe due to the direction they saw Optum heading? Either way this cant be good for Optum Insight can it? Something seems strange for it to happen all of the sudden when the business seemed to be going well.

Optum and UHG’s MO is to push out people of a certain age group. They threaten to give a bad review unless they leave. So people just go and retire to avoid being terminated. I’d say the same policy applies regardless of position held.
