If you have a job at wells start applying for your dream job. Reach out to folks and network now. Eventually you will get hit with a layoff, why? Because we are just a number here. While it hurts to think that, the reality is we’re getting paid.

As a corporation - WF's obligation is to create wealth for its shareholders - not the employee. If you have stock or are in a 401k - you know that you are a stakeholder. You want to retire? YOU must be the greedy corporate monster you keep hating.

LOL I have been laid off three times in my life of working for 32 years! You get over it, trust me, you are a number at most big companies, I will tell you the smaller ones do not always pay good and not always have good benefits, and the technology can be outdated- I interview a lot and well WF pays well. Not saying that I like the current environment but I know BOFA folks that want to come here as it pays better!
I got news for you, that’s everywhere.
That’s American capitalism as it exists now. Corporate greed at the exclusion of everything else. Only managing on the quarter.
That’s why we lose to countries whose companies have 5, 10, 50 year plans and respect their employees.
what if your job at Wells fargo is your dream job? What if you’re happy? Does that mean we still go apply elsewhere by your theory?
