Allot of posts out there about layoffs, worry, bad management. I too was former Ford so I get the anxiety of “death by a thousand cuts” layoffs. My advice is to understand that you are an at will employee and Ford leadership is NOT nor is the union. So the sooner you understand this and ignore the propaganda of teamwork and family the better off you will be. Look up at will employment, understand it and embrace it. You’ll be better off in long run.

33 yrs at Ford... its has been an interesting career. Wonderful friendships made working on a lot of exciting projects. Pay was probably above average and there were opportunities to climb the management ladder if you were willing to put in the time, had a good sponsor and were just plain lucky. Better than GM and Chrysler... yes..
Ford has evolved and I am unsure it its latest venture in to EVs will be profitable. Henry Ford once said he would rather make $1 off a 100 customers than $100 off 1 customer. We make high end expensive vehicles that benefit very few people. I would rather sell 3 Maverick Hybrids than 1 E F150 Lightning. I plan to retire, get separated or get bought out before years end. Pension is fully funded but I plan to take Lump Sum. One less thing to worry about.
Find a reason to get yourself protected under state or federal law, then at will doesn't matter so much
Veteran to start, perhaps?
To HR Ford has has two types of employees. Represented and Unrepresented. Unrepresented are treated like they are second class citizens. Much easier to cull.
I'm a long time Ford employee getting ready to retire. Other than a cheap jacket or t shirt they don't give you much unless they are forced. "Part of the family" is a line of BS.
