Thread regarding Change Healthcare layoffs

I'm no longer worried about layoffs

It will almost be a relief if it happens to me. I'm always tired and overworked. I'd be looking for a new job if I had time to do it, but mostly I just eat and sleep when I get home. I don't know if this is the case for everybody or if my boss is an id--t who's trying to squeeze as much from us as he can, but I'm at the point where I'm hoping I'm laid off.

I wish they would offer voluntary layoffs with severance packages. I would be the first in line.

I too would like to provide feedback on my manager without the fear of retribution.

I'm no longer worried either and I sympathize. A layoff with a token week or two of pay sounds like heaven at this point. They sc--w us on raises as the inflation outpaces everything and our industry is paying 20% to 30% higher than market to attract new blood. THIS is the time to job hop. This company in particular does not value long stays and it's in our best interests to rotate out. Trade your company loyalty in for something better than s--tty treatment.

Crummy company managers have really impacted employee quality of life over the past two years. Incompetent, unqualified, uneducated people-leaders drive down efficiency with BS that only justifies their existence while making our jobs a misery. Bring back the anonymous surveys on these folks so we can hold them accountable! I'd be happier, and far more productive, if senior management cleared out the cult of yes-men/women self serving sycophants that plagues our organization.
