Gerry always has the option to bale, just like a good number of other executives did, rather than be part of this debacle.

Penny wise and pound foolish.

GXL was always the scapegoat.

I swear if they say I'm being fired/riffed after prayerful consideration...I'll throw up.

The typical faces of the connection calls haven't ever seemed to be the folks making decisions. During every layoff call they look like they want to throw up. A true believer in those decisions would get behind them even though they're painful. Gerry, Marie, etc are just the announcers. If they really made decisions they wouldn't have someone else answer questions on those calls and would just answer them because they know the business. When a real question comes up though they never have answers, and you'll be lucky if even the person they defer to will ever come back with one.

Is EU out also. Or are they just pushing GL out as a scapegoat for their failures.
