So is this the Sam Walton way? Go into clubs an absolutely tear them apart on tours? Nevermind what your club had done right these last 2 years during a pandemic, short handed in just about every department but yet still trying to do everything possible to take care of members. Sales up double digits the last 2 years? Doesn't matter... We need to make MORE money! And being shorthanded? That just increases our bottom line and this makes the share holders happy! And since you've proven that a club can run with this little help, this will become the standard.
Empty pallet in the aisle because we've sold out yet again of that item, double up on another item.. Even though it's coming in tomorrow... But we're 'losing sales'.... Yes, by not having the item that goes there. Doubling up an item doesn't make up for it. Members don't think "I wasn't going to buy those cups, but now that's there's 2 pallets, I have to. There must be a reason there's 2 pallets of them!! This is my lucky day!"

Real world today everyone is dispensable and robots are coming!! Yes cashiers are going away and so will members that don’t want to scan n go or self check out!!!!
Sam Walton was an absolutely horrible man. You need to read his history. Treated his employees fair? He threatened to fire them if they cash their paychecks after the law went into effect forcing him to pay minimum wages. His underlings called women cows. He knew this. People, there is no Walton who is a decent human being.
The posters and references to Sam Walton should have been removed from every Walmart and Sam's Club years ago.
