Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Salary Ranges

All the salary ranges are posted on the Hub, by state, available to any employee to view and digest. Only non-employees would not have access to the data. Do not disclose salary ranges to people outside of the company, this is reckless.

Lmao did HR find their way onto this board? How the $@&! does posting a salary range impact the company whatsoever, other than letting prospective employees know what they are being finessed for?

The ranges are also a load of horse cr-p, you’ll never be above the 50th percentile.

Disclose away. The corporate state does not want you to disclose your salary (which is illegal to prevent us from doing) because the corporation can continually underpay teammates. The goal is maximum return for the shareholders---US employees are hung out to dry again and again and again. usa, usa

Disclosing all salary info is not reckless. It's our right as employees if we want. It is illegal to even try to prevent it. The more light is shed upon things, the better it will be for all.
