This can't be right, can it??

I bet it's close. We had much of our team let go in surprise layoffs last year, then, as expected, all the good young employees quit who no longer saw any good career path at WF. With nearly half the team gone, they aren't hiring replacements, and I know our bosses are trying desperately to prevent our jobs from being off shored, but it's probably a losing battle as the JP Morgan middle managers have no idea what we do.
We actually had a manager request that we let him know if we were looking to change jobs since management heard many were trying to leave. In the 2 years I’ve been on my team, we have lost about half. Many of those leaving had only been on the team 12-24 months.
I also confirm the number. It is a ball park. It’s higher because HR is unable to hire anyone.
Love to see their faces when they have to replace the offshore staff attrition but realize they already laid off/forced out all the domestic SMEs that trained them...
When the only way to get a promotion is to leave and work at Chase for X amount of time and then apply at WF. What do you expect?
Indian workers are leaving ALL companies for better pay, so expect the same with WF Indian workers. In India, I'm going to bet the cost of replacing those leaving as well as replacing American workers in the US is going to cost them more than they realize, and might even cause more problems when they find out how rigid Indian culture is about staying in the box instead of encouraging out of the box thinking like they do in the US.
Seems low
Retail has always had crazy high turn over, so this isn't shocking.
I would think turnover is pretty high in the branches, given the conditions that we hear about here. I've seen a lot of turnover in Tech, too. They keep posting for a lot of roles in India for our organization, but I only ever work with a few of them, so I don't have any sense about overall churn.
Even the indians don't want to work here anymore, how funny.
But all any one cares about is rto. 🙄
It can and it is. Lots of turnover in my tech area. No replacements will only make is worst.
Sounds about right for my tech area. No replacements are getting hired. People are done with Charlie's shitshow and are moving on.
Very reliable, trust me.
Where did you get this number, i.e. is it from a reliable source?
That’s an average across all business units. Tech leading with a much bigger number - highest in India.
