Thread regarding Barnes & Noble layoffs

It's the end for Barnes & Noble in a sad pathetic way but we know the real cause!

Don't worry about the Regional Manager who just left with a very nice retirement package and after so many bad management decisions, pitting stores and employees against each other for pure entertainment and causing two managers (that I know of) heart attacks.
It's disgusting that this is the type of managment employees have to endure and it's no wonder retail can't find good workers anymore- the torture them!

Yep, this place is very tolerant of bullying and harassment and the more you move up in the company the worst it seems to get. One manager where i work has a long history of started trouble with experienced high performing staff and has caused many to leave. It’s sad.

Has anyone watched the TV show Severance?
Working for Barnes & Noble isn't very different.

Oh yeah, New England was the worst region! Everyone hated it for the last 20 years!
