Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

I’ve noticed a pattern. Fido is full of extremely mediocre white women

They are the biggest beneficiaries of affirmative action. They seem to be in so many positions despite not having useful skills. One had knowing how to use a telephone as a key professional skill on her resume and this was a senior leader. All this would be fine if they weren’t also so catty, petty, full of gossip and hot air talk about their kids or gardens

For the last 3 years, Fidelity has been trying to become a more diversified firm, by hiring more women and for males (races other than white) They publish an annual report showing the breakout, and it has always been skewed super heavy towards white men. Duh, most white men are in financial services spectrum. unfortunately, to fill a quota they will hire more unqualified vs qualified , the last VBO eliminated alot of high paying white guys jobs. its just a game, hopefully it does not backfire on results (turnover ) in next 5-10 years, who knows? i would love to see what those numbers look like today. i bet they are still close to the same,

So what you’re trying to tell us is that you’re a mediocre white man. Got it. Don’t worry honey, you will still be rewarded for your mediocrity and whiteness.

Is that the sound of a mediocre man with his privilege of boys club and auto promotion membership being taken away?

Seriously? Rude. Individuals are now hired regardless of skill as long as they check the box.
