It is obvious that they did not make any effort to prevent layoffs and that is pretty demoralizing. Great people have been cut, who will very likely find work elsewhere soon. However, what message does that send to the rest of us who work here? Why would anyone here continue working hard when we know we can always be cut in the next round of layoffs?

They are sending all our jobs overseas where they don't have to pay as much. Then they are all about diversity because they don't want us complaining about different countries getting our jobs.
Don't need "cool" offices, coffee machines, pizza parties, salty junk snacks, corn syrup granula bars, cheapie certificates of "appreciation"--doesn't pay the rent---want real money and real benies and the choice of how we work best. WFH
They could care less. Nothing new just business as usual. I am thankful to keep my goals and motivation set on my team and the members I serve. I sure don't do it for the company or expect anything from them. Corporate is gross going on and on with empty and meaningless words which amount to nothing. 1% raises in this economy AND I've heard from leaders about increased cost for the company and providers, and yet not a word on the people who keep it all together and are actually doing the work.
Why should we work our selves to the bone, help the company' s performance etc..if they do not care about our performance? You want us to help the company's performance? Pay us serious loot. Otherwise, bare minimum. We are not here to make friends, were here to make money.
Why would they? Their job as a US corporation is to maximize shareholder-owner-partner profit. That's it. Also, with a the very unique employment at will doctrine, any US worker can be terminated at any time with or without any cause. That's the US empire. A cesspool-debased and degenerate
